Name: Abigail "Abby" Goodrich
Age: 17
Height: 5'7
BIO:
Abigail had a relatively normal childhood. She grew up with her older sister, Gabby, and her mother; her father left them while she was very young and had left her mother to care for them. It was an extreme struggle, but Mrs. Goodrich did all she could. Unfortunately, the pressure of raising two girls got to her and she eventually reached a breaking point when her last job let her go.
Abigail and her sister woke up one day and found their mother had abandoned them.
Gabby held at least two jobs at one time to try and keep food on the table, having to drop out of school to do so. But that wasn't nearly enough to keep them in the house and evenually, the girls were forced to leave. Abigail followed suite, dropping out of high school before she was even a sophoromore.
Having nowhere to go, the sisters made their way to the city where Gabby took care of them both through three jobs. They lived out of a shelter in Cleveland.
Only a few days before Abigail was called through Willow's spell, Abigail was attacked by men with no eyes in a back alley one night.
They jumped her as she was meeting up with her sister. They attempted to slash her throat for the kill until Gabby found the fight and managed to take the main attacker off of Abigail. As Gabby tried to fight off the first attacker, the second eyeless attacker got to Abigail bearing down a pipe against her throat, pinning her to the ground.
She was choked so hard, her vocal chords were damaged beyond repair. The only thing that had stopped her from getting killed was Gabby using the knife she had wrestled away from the first one and stabbing the guy in the back. However, when Abigail pushed herself out from under the man, she realized that Gabby had paid the price and had a fatal stab wound.
Gabby begged her little sister to flee, get as far away as possible and find help.
Scared and confused and now unable to talk, Abigail fled and tried to find someone to help her. But her frantic gestures only scared people that late at night, and she never found the help she wanted for Gabby. When she returned to the alley, Gabby was no longer there.
Gabby's body was never found.
Abandoned for the third time, Abigail holed herself up in an abandoned apartment building for days, crying to herself. She stayed as long as she could before having to go back to the shelter to get food, and would travel back and forth, wanting to be alone.
Then one day, something in her jolted her out of her sleep and she wasn't sure what had happened. The nightmares she had on the occasion got even more intense right before she was jolted out of slumber that night. Not knowing that it was the power of the Slayer that had overcome, she ignored it and decided it was time to move on and do something to help herself.
Abigail shamefully found herself grabbing people's wallets and purses to get the money to scrape by. She never forced herself onto them, only took advantage of those who left their personal belongings unattended. It came very easily to her, not knowing she moved faster than most people could.
That's when a man named Henry observed her knack for stealing money off of people very quickly and stealthily, as that was the way she learned to survive. He took her in "as his own," but had darker plans for her. He began to notice Abigail's natural ability and saw a greater power in her before she could. Her stealth, her agility, her strength - it was all unreal to him. She was oblivious to it to a certain extent, and Henry made sure to keep Abigail at a lower level than him, even though he knew she could overpower him with possibly only one arm.
Still, Henry took advantage of the fact Abigil was emotionally and mentally vulnerable and used it to his own advantage.
Disclaimer: I am so not Alexis Bledel, but I do own the character of Abigail. This journal is for RPing purposes only and as far as I know, Abigail doesn't really exist.
